Directions from the South via the New Jersey Turnpike

If you know how to get to the NJ Turnpike, this is a great way to get to me.

1. Take the NJ TURNPIKE NORTH.
2. When you get to the split (Exit 15-18 E/W) take the Eastern Spur
   • Exit 15E-18E (towards US-46 / LINCOLN TUNNEL)
   • Follow I-95N / NJ TURNPIKE N toward I-80 EXITS 15E – 18
   • Continue towards I-80W (HACKENSACK/PATERSON)
3. Enter the EXPRESS LANE
4. In a few miles you will merge with the local lanes again, and at that time you need to IMMEDIATELY get back over to the right lanes, as you will be exiting imminently (EXIT 63 for RT17/LODI/RT-4/FAIR LAWN)
5. Once you go up the ramp, make a RIGHT  turn and you’ll arrive at a traffic light. This street you are now about to turn onto is ESSEX STREET. Make a LEFT.
6. Take this road for about a mile and make a left onto CALDWELL AVENUE. There will be a food mart there on the corner called “Subzi” and it’s a yellow sign.
7. In about a ¼ mile you’ll make a RIGHT onto HILLSIDE AVENUE
8. You will then make a QUICK RIGHT onto HICKEY TERRACE followed by a QUICK LEFT onto VAN LUYN TERRACE
9. My house will be about 500 feet away on your RIGHT (411 VAN LUYN TERRACE)
   

Directions from the South via the Garden State Parkway

The Garden State Parkway is also a relatively simple way to get to me.

1. Enter the Garden State Parkway headed NORTH
2. Continue NORTH until EXIT 157 (ROUTE 46 – GARFIELD/ELMWOOD PK)
3. Take this for about 1 ¼ miles until you will make a left onto N. 5^th Street
4. Take this for about a ¼ mile and make your THIRD RIGHT onto HILLSIDE AVENUE
5. Take this for about a ¼ mile and make your SECOND LEFT onto HICKEY TERRACE
6. Make a QUICK LEFT onto VAN LUYN TERRACE
7. My house will be about 500 feet away on your RIGHT (411 VAN LUYN TERRACE)

Directions from the North via Route 80

If you have a way to get to Route 17, this would wise!

1. Take Route 17 SOUTH and enter the Garden State Parkway.
2. Exit at 159 I-80 toward SADDLE BROOK/PATERSON/G WASHINGTON BRIDGE
3. Before you get to the decision to head East or West on I-80, take the exit on your RIGHT for SADDLE BROOK
4. Keep RIGHT at the fork and make your way to the traffic light (still baring right)
5. Merge onto MIDLAND AVENUE via the ramp towards SADDLE BROOK/GARIFELD
6. Continue onward on MIDLAND AVENUE for about ½ mile until you will make a LEFT onto MARKET STREET
7. Take this for about ¼ mile and make a RIGHT onto N. 5^th Street
8. In about 600 feet make a LEFT onto VICTOR STREET
9. Take to the end and make a RIGHT onto HICKEY TERRACE
10. Make a QUICK RIGHT onto VAN LUYN TERRACE
11. My house will be about 500 feet away on your RIGHT (411 VAN LUYN TERRACE)

Directions from Brooklyn

1. Take the BELT PKWY W. towards the VERRAZANO BRIDGE
2. Take EXIT 3 for I-278/VERRAZANO BR (stay LEFT for the LOWER LEVEL)
3. Merge onto I-278 W towards the GOTHALS BRIDGE which will take you into New Jersey
4. Take the TURNPIKE NORTH/ I-95 N exit on the LEFT
5. Continue onward to the split (Exit 15-18 E/W) take the Eastern Spur
6. Exit 15E-18E (towards US-46 / LINCOLN TUNNEL)

Directions from Newark

1. Take NJ-21 N/MCCARTER HWY for about 12 miles.
2. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto US-46 E.
3. Take this off-ramp for about a ½ mile and  then merge onto US-46 E toward ELMWOOD PARK/NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE/GARDEN STATE PARKWAY
4. You’ll be on RT-46 for a little LESS THAN 2 MILES and then you’ll make a LEFT onto N 5TH ST
5. Take this for about a ¼ mile and make your THIRD RIGHT onto HILLSIDE AVENUE
6. Take this for about a ¼ mile and make your SECOND LEFT onto HICKEY TERRACE
7. Make a QUICK LEFT onto VAN LUYN TERRACE
